Halt for Halters

I love halter necklines. I have really broad shoulders, and I think the halter neckline slims them down: everything directs the eye center, away from my shoulders, and then up to my face (little graphic design knowledge). This is the dress I'm wearing as a skirt in my Terra post. This dress (NOW ON SALE)from Banana Republic is so stretchy and comfortable, I love it (and works great as a skirt). Halter necklines were also a wardrobe favorite of Buffy's, so naturally, I'm rocking in.

But holy humidity Batman! Could my hair get any bigger? Actually, it can... but that's a different post for a different day. I love my bangs, but regretting them for Summer time, but it's too late now. I'm also noticing bangs are everywhere right now, so I feel very on trend.

Back at the beginning of the year I made a resolution to kick up my blog a notch. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I definitely haven't been blogging as much, but I have been trying harder, and I think it's finally paying off (hopefully). I think it will definitely be easier to blog more once I move back into the city (and get out of my parents house). Also, I think my mental health will just be better off.... sorry Dad... love you, but I miss having a closet. It's been so hard to get motivated about the blog, and I never want to do something that feels forced. But I can't sit at my parent's house and mope. So, I entered myself in the Boston A List competition for best fashion blog (in Boston). I'm not sure how kosher it was to nominate myself, but F*ck it. You all have to vote for me, because my state of depression depends on it. Just kidding, that's a lot of pressure.... but really.
