ChocoLATE Morning
Just 5 more minutes.... aka I'm in bed, with some chocolate. Yup, this is really going to take 10 minutes. I just partnered with EHChocolatier, and these rich hand done artisan chocolates make the perfect gift, located right in Boston! I fully believe you should never show up to someone's house, especially for the holidays, empty handed, and you'll be loved by the host if you bring these! 1. they're absolutely stunning, 2. they're rich and decadent 3. THE FRENCH HOT CHOCOLATE! I want to make chocolate pudding with this mix - this is how hot chocolate should taste. Sometimes I think I'm spoiled, then I remember I've just had the finer things in life, and I never want to go back. Ok.... so that may be the definition of spoiled.
Also, I'm so excited to share with you (finally) my room makeover. It took forever, I'm still not done, I'm still not entirely happy with it (which is why it took me so long to share with you), and somewhere out there my interior designer friend, Victoria Holly, is cringing at *something.* I have a finite amount of space, and a lot of stuff, mainly a lot of clothes. I had to buy a whole separate wardrobe from Ikea, which I'm so happy with, but I do have to admit, it's pretty cramped in here. I'd love to hear what you think below. But first, chocolate!
Welcome to The Boudoir
Welcome to my room! And yes, that's a stuffed animal on my bed, had her since I was a baby, and she's not going anywhere anytime soon. Ok for starters, this nightstand was a BITCH to put together. If you remember my instagram stories from Months ago, this was the worst thing to put together. It took 2 days, 10 hours total.... for a box with 3 drawers. The WORST instructions ever! I broke the metal sliders as I installed everything, and hand fixed them: it was like hand doing braces, because it was metal ball sliders. I do think it's very classic and pretty, but I'm not sure if I'd go through that whole process again. The lamp on my nightstand is amazing though, it has a USB charger right in the base, I think this was the best find in the room and only #20!! I always have my "Breathe Deeply" eucalyptus spray by my bedside too, perfect for freshening up the sheets, or spritzing my face in the morning to start my day.
And the rest of the room! Can we just appreciate that pant slider in my closet that
i mainly use for scarfs? Did you take a moment? Good. I got it at Ikea as part of the Pax system, but below I put a slider scarf pull from Home Depot below. I'm obsessed with mine, and I need more of them. Other fun things you can spot in my room, I use coffee beans to hold my makeup brushes, I use a honey container for rings, and I use bed trays for everything!
