Winter Beach Party
Is that Bridesmaid dress still hanging in your closet? Well try taking it out, and layering it. It is possible to get more wear out of "that dress" that we all have hanging in the garment bag still. With holiday parties coming up, this is a fun twist on evening wear. I also feel quite fabulous in this look. Winter is the perfect time to have that dreamlike moment. And if people think you're crazy, just blame it on the weather. It works every time....
Also just a brief personal story about the designer of this bridesmaid gown (and why I chose to feature this bridesmaid dress): Adrianna Papell can do no wrong. A few years ago she designed a gold sequin dress that I thought was hideous on the hanger, but yet it called to me. There was only a size 2 left, (I am NOT a size 2) and to my surprise it fit perfectly. I even had my Kim from NYC try it on, and it fit her perfectly. Thus, right then and there, I decided Adrianna Papell is the designer of the traveling pants. So Brides, if you're going to pick a bridesmaids gowns, I can't say enough about this designer - also.... her dresses are available at most major department stores, which is easier on everyone (especially if your bridesmaids have a department store credit card).
P.s. Thank you Squantum Yacht Club of Quincy, MA for letting us schmooze about! They make a great location for private parties and weddings.
