Jumpsuiting Around Seaport

Between the ICA, biking, boating, the harbor, bars; seaport has become the new hip place to be kiddos! My dad and I walk around that area and we sound like the oldest men ever: “I still remember when this was nothing!”…. followed by a conversation about the highway and how it’s Rose Kennedy Greenway now. Yup, I’ve been around.

I got this jumpsuit from J.McLaughlin, and it’s the comfiest thing ever. I honestly feel like I’m wearing pajamas. The zipper in the back does make it hard to pee, and my friends know, when I gotta go, I gotta go! Other than that, it’s perfect! I’m wearing it in two ways, dressing it down, bringing the tie sash to the front over some layers, and then by itself for a sleek sophisticated look. Being really petite, jumpsuits never fit me, but this one does. The way how J.Mclaughlin advertises this piece I think the legs are shorter on the model, but on me, it’s styled in a 1970’s foxy look, which I much prefer.

Lately, I’ve been binging The Deuce on HBO (NOT A FAMILY APPROPRIATE SHOW) and it’s all the 1970’s vibes a girl could ask for…. plus a lot of porn and James Franco. It’s about Manhattan during the 1970’s, at the height of street prostitution and the rise of the porn industry. My roommate Rachel one day kept walking in at the most inappropriate scenes, and I had to swear to her that there was actual dialog and a plot. So the second I saw this jumpsuit, and seeing that it fit perfectly, I just had to have it. I think James Franco would approve.
