My blog turns 4!

Wow 4 years guys, my blog could attend pre-school now. I feel like I transitioned from a high school freshman, into a senior. I’m way more confident now than I was 4 years ago, not sure why because reading some of my older posts I sound like a trainwreck. Of course before writing this, I went down memory lane, and I realized I accomplished a lot: from business goals to becoming an independent woman. Thanks everyone for sticking with me and reading all about it.

As is tradition, I do my blog-anniversary every year at Oktoberfest. I started with a selfie because I was just really digging my outfit that day, and now here I am! I LOVE Oktoberfest. It’s my favorite day of the year: live music, tons of food, an array of art vendors, shopping, and BEER! A crap-load of beer. This was the first year in a while that it didn’t rain, however, it was hot as balls, and I literally had to change out of my outfit (the one you see here) into something lighter. I ran into Urban Outfitters and grabbed the first maxi dress off the rack. I was dying. So if you think I have a beautiful glow about me, just know that’s sweat.

Fun fact about me, I’m actually part of Harvard Square’s history. I performed at the Rocky Horror Picture show for 8 years, 6 of those years was in Harvard Square on Church St. This got me into Harvard Square’s popular coffee table book. However, I was quoted at the age of 16 and sounded like a Valley Girl. The book came out a few years ago, and I will forever live and cringe as that dumb kid. My quote: “I was awkward and weird, and at Rocky Horror, awkward and weird’s, like, cool!”

Ok 1. what did I mean “was” - I’m still awkward AF! This summer I accidentally wrote on an ex’s facebook wall about what I was up to, which was clearly meant for him to see, but not DIRECTLY. It was up there for 3 hours before my roommate Rachel informed me. Talk about suave.

2. “like cool” - so not actually cool? So many questions.

Just a whole lot of “ughhhh.” Anyways, I’ve grown. I swear. Ok, maybe not; I’m wearing animal ears in my first photo. P.s. I’ve been really into that lately, not sure if it’s because of Halloween, but I kinda like wearing animal ears randomly—and these ones are leather and awesome!
