NYFW

I've been to New York countless times, but I'll never stop feeling like a tourist, except now I'm not asking my friend to take me to Time Square, I'm asking her to take me to the most instagramable place in Manhattan: Cha Cha Matcha. (when you find out you're still an annoying tourist, SORRY KIM!) I have to be honest, I've been dying to go to this place because of every other blogger and it was such a let down. There wasn't a terribly long wait, but the service was mediocre - no rush or anything with customers, limited menu, and the matcha lattes were bitter. The interior was stunning, cute as a button, and the pastries were delicious, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hype. Perfect for photos as you can see though!

I went to NYFW just for the weekend and had a blast! In one day I went to the Carmen Steffans runway show, Simply Style blogger event where I got to check out a ton of products and designers... oh and legit hang out with Brittany Snow! And then a live art fashion show. I took complete advantage of the day, oh yah and eat chocolate covered strawberries with Brittany Snow!!! Did I mention I met her? Lol! I always feel really short in general, but she was shorter than me and I felt 6 feet tall! She was really sweet and very patient.

How did I get to hang out with her? She was one of the speakers at the Simply Style event and then left her VIP area to go home and my friends and I were told she wouldn't be returning.... so we took over the VIP area (how NYC of us), but then she came back.... mid me chocolate all over my face. #classic. I also gave side eye to Vanessa Hudgens because I didn't recognize who she was and I was stuck walking behind her and she was taking her sweet time. Whoops......
